Clear, straightforward licensing options for free templates and premium themes. Know your rights before you build.
When you download a free template or purchase a premium theme from ECKThemes, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the item under specific terms. All our products can be used for personal and commercial projects.
Compare usage rights across our license tiers to pick the right option for your project.

Applies to all free starter templates available on ECKThemes.
Standard commercial license for single website or client build.
For web applications, SaaS platforms, and monetizeable end products.
All licenses are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and grant rights to build end products according to the selected tier. An "End Product" is a customized final project built using the item (e.g. a website, web app, or client portal).
Free templates may require retaining the footer copyright or attribution link unless stated otherwise. Regular and Extended licenses allow complete removal of all ECKThemes branding and copyright notices from the final site.
Regular and Extended licenses cover a single End Product. If you are building multiple distinct client websites using the theme, a separate license must be acquired for each site.
Under no license tier are you allowed to re-distribute, sub-license, resell, or share the original or modified source files of ECKThemes products as standalone assets, theme packs, or within theme generator / website builder software.
